Darryl Paul Milton to face NT Supreme Court on drug charges

A man accused of cashing in on more than $160,000 following a Humpty Doo drug deal has had his matter escalated to the Supreme Court.

A man accused of cashing in on more than $160,000 following a Humpty Doo drug deal has had his matter escalated to the Supreme Court.

Darryl Paul Milton appeared in Darwin Local Court on Wednesday morning, charged with supplying a commercial quantity of schedule two drugs, possessing a trafficable quantity of schedule two drugs, possessing a less-than-trafficable quantity of schedule one drugs and receiving property suspected of being the proceeds of crime.

It is alleged Mr Milton took part in a drug deal at a Humpty Doo property on October 16, 2024, in which he received $165,980.

It is also alleged Mr Milton was in possession of a trafficable quantity of trenbolone acetate – a synthetic anabolic steroid.

Appearing by video link, Mr Milton was unmoved as the allegations were read to the courtroom.

No submissions were made by his lawyer, however it was heard the matter would not be contested.

Judge Tanya Fong Lim found the matter suitable for the NT Supreme Court, where Mr Milton will next appear on June 26, 2025.

Mr Milton will remain on remand.
