A 51-YEAR-OLD Northern Territory police officer has been issued a Notice to Appear in Darwin Local Court over an allegation of sexual intercourse without consent.
The officer is expected to face court on September 24 over the allegation.
A police spokeswoman did not respond to further questions and said no further information would be given as the matter was before the courts.
