Man charged with Mindil beach murder
A man has been charged with murder after a woman was found unresponsive on Mindil Beach last month.

A MAN has been charged with murder in relation to the death of a woman at Mindil Beach last month.
Major Crimes Detectives arrested the 38-year-old man at a community south of Darwin on Friday before charging him later that evening.
The murder charge comes after a 40-year-old woman was found unresponsive on Mindil Beach in Darwin about 9.45pm on December 23 last year.
Paramedics attempted to revive her at the scene, but she was later declared dead at Royal Darwin Hospital.
Police said that the woman is suspected to have died from blunt force injuries to the head.
The victim and accused are known to each other.
The 38-year-old man has been remanded in custody and will appear in Darwin Local Court on January 6.
Major Crimes Detectives charged the 38-year-old man on Friday evening in relation to the death of a 40-year-old woman on December 23 2019.
Police and paramedics were called to the CBD beach at 9.45pm that evening, where paramedics tried to revive the woman.
She later died at Royal Darwin Hospital.
The 38-year-old man will appear in Darwin Local Court on January 6.
