Hanuman restaurant owner Jimmy Shu says he’s going to frame the rock thieves used to smash their way into his business last night.
Thieves were caught on CCTV last night at Hanuman smashing the glass doors and stealing six bottles of booze.
The brazen break-in occurred at 3.04am.
Mr Shu said last night’s break-in was the eighth in eight months.
He is now going to install a roller door to cover the front glass doors.
“It’s going to look like a garage but that OK it’s a sign of the times,” he said.
He recently spent $27,000 revamping the security system, reinforcing the roller doors at the front of the restaurant, installing flood lights and a screecher alarm.
“These guys have no idea of respect,” he said.
Bar Tapa Vino was also broken into over night.
It is the third time in a week the CBD restaurant has been targeted.
