Cops have found a man who fled from them with one handcuff attached after he was allegedly involved in assaulting a security guard at Karama.
The 22-year-old was arrested by Strike Force Trident detectives this morning at a residence in Wulagi.
The man was being arrested by cops after allegedly assaulting a security officer at Karama.
At 11pm Monday a group armed themselves with sticks and branches and allegedly began hitting the security guard before they stole items from his car.
Police arrested one man, a 24-year-old over the incident.
Police continue to search for one other man who was involved in the incident.
The security guard sustained minor injuries and did not require medical treatment. Investigations are ongoing.
