A teenage girl has been injured following a pedestrian and vehicle incident outside McDonalds in Charters Towers.

Queensland Ambulance Service confirmed a 13-year-old girl had been transported to Charters Towers Hospital after she was reportedly struck by a vehicle near the McDonald’s fast-food restaurant on Gill Street at 12.46pm.

A young teenage girl has been injured in a pedestrian accident outside McDonalds in Charters Towers.

Queensland Ambulance Service confirmed a 13-year-old girl had been transported to Charters Towers Hospital after she was reportedly struck by a vehicle near the fast-food restaurant on Gill Street at 12.46pm.

The Queensland Ambulance spokesman was unable to provide the extent of the girl’s injuries.

Townsville Hospital and Health Service have been contacted for a patient condition.

Police were also on scene.
