Alice Springs Town Council will confer citizenship on 43 residents of Central Australia and announce this year’s recipients of the Centralian Awards, with the event taking place on the Civic Centre lawns from 7.20am.
A free sausage sizzle will commence on completion of the presentations.
Council’s Aquatic Leisure Centre is hosting its annual Australia Day Pool Party, with free entry from midday until 4pm, and featuring the giant inflatable, water slides, Arrow Tag, BBQ sausage sizzle and splash pad fun for under fives.

Barkly Council will host a breakfast and awards and citizenship ceremony at Civic Hall from 8am, followed by an afternoon of fun-filled activities. Buses will be running in Tennant Creek.
