A 43-year-old man was allegedly found in possession of methamphetamine and cannabis after
detectives from the Southern Drug Investigation Unit allegedly located a quantity of both during a search of a cattle yard south of Alice Springs on Friday morning.
The man was charged with Possess Schedule 1 – less than trafficable quantity and Possess Schedule 2 – trafficable quantity, and has been bailed to appear before the Alice Springs Local Court on August 18, 2020.

In a separate matter a 34-year-old man was issued with a Notice to Appear before court on August 20, 2020 after he was allegedly found in possession of methamphetamine and a drug implement during the search of the property.
