Man to face court on eight charges relating to animal cruelty
The charges relate to a fatal incident at a home in Gillen during the early hours of June 5.
Police attended the scene following reports of a group of people fighting with weapons at the house.
Police found a man with life-threatening injuries and gave first aid.
St John Ambulance officers also responded but the man passed away a short time later.
Benjamin Martin, 44, has since been charged with murder and engage in violent conduct while Ronald Martin, 39, faces charges of murder, accessory after the fact and engage in violent conduct.
Jeremy Scrutton, 40, faces murder, accessory after the fact, engage in violent conduct and offence of incitement charges.
The men appeared in Alice Springs Local Court via video link on Thursday.
Crown prosecutor Glen Dooley said the defence lawyers were waiting on a forensic biologist report before they could further speak with their clients regarding the charges they each face.
The men were remanded in custody to appear via video-link on December 17.
