AFTER the 2020 event was cancelled due to COVID-19, the Run Larapinta Stage Race will be held twice in 2021.

The four-day, four-stage trail running race will be held on 21-24 April and 26-29 August next year.

“We are very excited to host two events in 2021,” said General Manager of Rapid Ascent Sam Maffett.

“It’s definitely become a bucket list event on the ultra running calendar, and it’s easy to see why!”

Karen, a race participant in 2019, described the run as “an amazing way to see a beautiful part of Outback Australia.”
