NT POLICE are investigating a “serious incident” in Larapinta in which two people were assaulted on Thursday night.
A man and a woman were conveyed to Alice Springs Hospital in the early hours of Friday morning.
A crime scene was established on Lyndavale Drive and police have asked the public to avoid the area while investigations are in progress.
IGA Larapinta management said it would not open its doors as usual in a message on Facebook.
“Sorry for any inconvenience we are not going to be able to open the store at 7.30am this morning our car park is a crime scene and there is no access,” the message read.
