AN NT Police officer has been arrested and charged for an alleged aggravated assault while he was off-duty.
The 44-year-old has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault and one count of failing to provide secure storage of ammunition.
The officer has been bailed to appear in Alice Springs Local Court on July 20, 2021.
He has been suspended from duty and the matter is under internal investigation by NT Police.
