AN 18-year-old man fronted Alice Springs Local Court yesterday on a string of charges relating to an alleged domestic violence incident in Alice Springs on Sunday.

Dwayne Campbell is alleged to have caused criminal damage to the vehicle being driven by an 18-year-old woman on top of Anzac Hill just before 6am on Sunday.

Police allege Mr Campbell conducted dangerous driving, repeatedly rammed the woman’s vehicle and made multiple attempts to block her vehicle by swerving in front of her, while driving around Alice Springs on Sunday.

It was further alleged Mr Campbell physically assaulted the woman a number of times before she was able to call police and flag down a passing police vehicle.
