A-LIST celebrity Christian Bale has popped up in Alice Springs for a “very low key” holiday with his family after wrapping up filming on his latest Hollywood blockbuster, the NT News understands.
Bale, 47, was spotted taking a camel ride on Sunday evening at the Alice Springs Telegraph Station following months spent in locations around Australia filming the latest instalment of the Marvel superhero movie Thor: Love and Thunder.
The Batman actor, also known for his portrayal of psychopathic investment banker Patrick Batman in American Psycho, has since left Alice Springs, the NT News understands.
“He was just on a quiet time holiday,” a bus driver who spotted Bale, said.
“Away from the riff raff I believe.”
Bale stunned Top Enders when he made a visit to prominent Darwin restaurant Hot Tamale on Sunday.
The fourth instalment of Thor is due to be released next year, starring Bale alongside a host of other Hollywood A-listers including Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Taika Waititi, Matt Damon, and Melissa McCarthy.
