• Half-price flights to Darwin, Alice Springs and Uluru go on sale but details remain unclear

JET setters in the NT looking for an interstate holiday can access half-price airfares to metro destinations from today thanks to a a $1.2bn federal government package.

Discounted flights to and from Darwin, Alice Springs and Uluru, as well as other select locations across the country, became available at 10.30pm ACST overnight when the federal government launched its major initiative to support the national tourism sector amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

There are 800,000 half-priced seats on sale across numerous regions from Thursday 1 April 2021.

Fares on sale until 11:59pm AEST 31 July 2021 unless sold out prior and apply to travel from April 1 to September 30, 2021.

Fares are subject to availability and fare prices are in AUD.
