Alice Springs named the Northern Territory’s top regional travel destination for 2021

ALICE Springs has topped the regional Territory destinations for a holiday in a new report which revealed the trends that will shape travel in 2021.
Booking.com revealed the top trending destinations in the Territory as a part of their Future of Travel report, which used new research on all types of travellers from around the world. From travellers looking for a heightened level of travel safety, as well as a new-found appreciation for doorstep delights, the report is the first look into the way travel is experienced in 2021 and beyond.
Top 10 regional Territory destinations include: Alice Springs, Ayers Rock, Katherine, Jabiru, Berrimah, Batchelor, Kings Canyon, Tennant Creek, Dundee Beach and Mataranka.
Area Manager for Australia, Luke Wilson, said as restrictions continued to ease in the Territory, holiday planners were getting ready to rediscover travel in their own state.
“Recent Booking.com data from our Future of Travel campaign specifically revealed Alice Springs was the most searched destination in the NT, followed by Ayers Rock and Katherine,” Mr Wilson said.
