TWO youths have been charged in relation to an incident where a 34-year-old woman struck from behind and had her purse stolen in the Alice Springs CBD.
Police said the woman was walking down the Todd Mall when it is alleged she was approached by three youth, who began to harass her at about 8.20pm on Wednesday.
The woman went to return to her friends when it is alleged one youth had assaulted her while another youth had grabbed her bag before the group ran off.
Members from Strike Force Viper identified and located two boys, aged 12 and 15-years-old who were arrested and are currently assisting police with their inquiries.
A third youth who was involved in the incident remains outstanding.
