Traffic has cleared on a busy Cairns road during peak-hour following a multi-vehicle car crash.
Emergency services responded to reports of a three-vehicle crash on Foster Road, near a Mount Sheridan shopping centre at 4.52pm.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman confirmed paramedics assessed a number of patients, however no injuries were reported.
“It doesn’t look like any one needs to be transported to hospital,” the spokeswoman said.
“And one lane of traffic appears to be blocked.”
A Queensland Fire Department spokesman confirmed one screw was on site to make the scene safe, but no further assistance was required.
Motorists were urged to expect delays and to proceed with caution.
It comes after a shocking day on Far North roads, after five people were treated by paramedics and one person rushed to hospital following multiple separate car crashes around the region on Tuesday.
