Two patients were transported to Cairns Hospital with neck pain following a two-vehicle collision on Abbott Street and Minnie Street in Cairns city about 7:30 am this morning.
“The patients are in a stable condition and have been transported to Cairns hospital,” a spokeswoman from Queensland Ambulance said.
This follows another crash on Ramsey Drive and Reservoir Road in Kanimbla on Monday morning at 4 am, with a male patient also being transported to Cairns Hospital with a reported head injury.
“The male patient has been transported to Cairns hospital in a stable condition,” a spokeswoman from Queensland Ambulance said.
Traffic has not been impacted from either crash.
