Police are investigating after a 15-year-old girl reportedly stabbed a man in Mornington Island.
It’s understood officers were made aware of a disturbance at a Karaban Street address in Gununa, 679km northwest of Cairns, about 4.15am on Sunday, June 9.
Officers located a 15-year-old girl and she is assisting police with enquiries.
A 19-year-old man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
It is believed the two persons were known to each other.
Investigations are ongoing.
