Man fighting for life after home invasion in Sydney

Police are appealing for the public’s help to identify three men as part of their investigation into an alleged home invasion and serious assault in Sydney earlier this month.
Emergency services were called to a home on Wattle Crescent, Pyrmont at about 4.40pm on Tuesday last week following reports a 38-year-old man had sustained serious injuries to his head and arm.
The injured man was taken to Sydney’s Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.
Police officers attached to Sydney City Police Area Command attended the home and established a crime scene.
Following investigations, police arrested and charged a 37-year-old man with breaking and entering a dwelling and inflicting grievous bodily harm on any person.
The 37-year-old man was refused bail and appeared at Burwood Local Court on 22 May.
He was formally refused bail to appear again at Burwood Local Court on 17 July.
On Thursday, police released CCTV footage of three men they believe can assist with their inquiries into the matter and would like to speak with.
Investigators are appealing for the public to help identify the men, as well as a vehicle believed to be in the area at the time of the incident.
