Territorians enjoyed a plethora of activities at the NT’s first ever Festival of Us, alongside the day’s official program.
Inclusive sports and games were run in conjunction with some big names, including rapper J-Milla and inspirational speaker Sam Bloom.

VARIETY’S UTE RUN
Top Enders new and old found themselves at the Hidden Valley racetrack on Australia Day to watch more than 300 cars take off as part of the annual ute run.
The mass convoy were revved up and ready to go at 10.30am as they set off on their journey to the Noonamah Tavern.
And the event drew a crowd of locals and newcomers to see the cars and hear their horns as they blazed by in celebration of Australia Day.

OZ DAY FUN RUN AT DARWIN WATERFRONT
Damon Quigley and his dog Sissy were two patriotic Territorians who made their way to the Waterfront to participate in the annual Australia Day fun run and take in the day.
For the pair who have lived in Darwin for a year and a half it was chance to get among the early morning festivities and celebrate the day as hundreds took part in the race.
“I’m patriotic, I love Australia Day, I don’t care if they change the dates I will still celebrate it, and especially in Darwin, it’s beautiful,” he said.
