Sticky-fingered bandit robs Alice Springs sex shop

A sex shop bandit is on the run after he stole several toys from an Alice Springs adult entertainment store.

Southern Watch Commander Thomas Chalk said an adult man unlawfully entered the shop near Todd Mall late on Sunday evening.

Sergeant Chalk said the man entered alone through the shop’s unlocked front door and “had a stroll around inside” before fleeing with multiple sexual aids.

He said the man did not steal any cash from the saucy store and did not confirm what products were taken.

Sergeant Chalk said the “unusual” incident should serve as a reminder to businesses to “check all exit-entry points of their business prior to leaving”.

He said the man had not yet been identified and investigations were ongoing.
