TERRITORY airline Airnorth has launched half price flights to Darwin from Cairns, Townsville, Broome and Perth.
Airnorth is offering half-price flights between Darwin and Townsville, Darwin and Broome and Darwin to Cairns as part of it’s new holiday deal bonanza.
Passengers will be able to fly one-way Townsville to Darwin from $168 and return for $336.
Darwin to Broome one way is $173 and return $346.
Darwin to Cairns is $168 and return $336.

The airline is also offering a number of flights between Perth and Darwin. It is $225 one way and $450 return.
The sale period runs until July 31, with the travel period running until September 30.
Airnorth’s decision comes at the Northern Territory received further positive airline news.
Virgin Australia is hiring more than 150 new cabin crew, adding 10 Boeing 737s and has revealed new route plans that include Perth to Darwin, Melbourne to Darwin and Brisbane to Alice Springs services.

The company is adding 10 more aircraft and another 220 return flights a week.
Ms Hrdlicka said the carrier was strongly focused on its domestic recovery program as it built a “strong and disciplined business”.
Virgin Australia Regional Airlines (VARA) will operate an Airbus A320 aircraft between Perth-Darwin.
Virgin also plans Fokker 100 services between Brisbane-Alice Springs from next Monday April 19.

New and extended seasonal services include Melbourne to Darwin.
“Today we are operating around 850 weekly return flights,” Ms Hrdlicka said.
“And as we approach the June school holidays we will add another 220 return flights a week to our schedule.
“By mid-June we expect to be at 80 per cent of our pre-COVID domestic capacity.”
She said the increase in capacity will have Virgin ready for the resumption of international travel.
Ms Hrdlicka said an ten additional Boeing 737s would mean more flying and more jobs.
