A woman is fighting for her life and two young children have been injured following a serious collision in Melbourne’s west on Thursday afternoon.
The woman was reportedly pushing a pram with two children inside while crossing Ballarat Rd near Duke Street in Braybrook when a car hit them about 3.40pm.
The woman was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, while the two children suffered minor injuries.
The driver of the car stopped at the scene and is assisting police with their inquires.
Ballarat Rd was shut in both directions while detectives investigated the scene.
