Shaquille O’Neal adds biggest Chevy Corvette ever to car collection
When you’re one of the sporting world’s biggest stars – literally – and you want to drive one of the world’s fastest cars some big changes have to be made.
NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal has added another jaw-dropping ride to his custom car collection.
The Hall of Famer famously doesn’t fit in most cars, and considering his profound love of vehicles, he’s known for having some of the finest custom-built modifications that accommodate his large frame.

Thanks to the team at Effortless Motors, Shaq is now the owner of a custom-built Chevy Corvette C8 Z06 that has been transformed into what might be the longest Z06 ever built.
Effortless Motors is the same company that also custom-built his Cadillac Escalade IQ (the one he forgot about) as well as his Cybertruck.
However, what’s truly impressive about this custom Corvette is that the modifications are so seamless that the car looks almost identical to a standard Z06 at first glance. It’s a stealthy masterpiece, blending performance and practicality.

At 7-foot-1-inch, squeezing into a standard supercar is no easy feat.
The Corvette has been extended by 51 centimetres. For context, the standard Corvette measures 4.7 metres.

Despite the significant modification, the Corvette’s performance remains intact. The 5.5-litre flat-plane crank V8 engine, a hallmark of the Z06, still delivers its signature power. While the extended chassis might slightly affect driving dynamics, the car retains its thrilling essence.
Like most celebrities, Shaquille O’Neal has an impressive car collection.
Earlier this year, Shaq revealed why he parted ways with two of his Tesla Cybertrucks.
And it all comes down to one thing: range anxiety.
According to Shaq, the range figures from Musk’s EV baby are either not quite accurate or not nearly good enough.
Which is why he’s replaced the two Cybertrucks with Cadillac’s new all-electric SUV, the Escalade IQ, recently adding a third vehicle to his garage, each costing over $200,000.
With a collection rumoured to top 40 custom vehicles, Shaq’s garage includes everything from muscle cars to an armoured truck and most of his vehicles have been tailored to fit his frame and his flair.
Shaq’s current go-to car is a custom-built Ram 1500 TRX disguised as an Apocalypse Monster Truck.
