Police warning as three pedestrians killed on NSW roads
Police are urging motorists to drive with care after three pedestrians were killed in separate incidents during peak hour long weekend traffic.

Three pedestrians have been killed in separate road-related incidents across NSW.
An 83-year-old woman, an 80-year-old man and a 32-year-old man all died within 45 minutes of eachother as a result of incidents on NSW roads on Friday.
The 83-year-old woman had been walking near the Barton Highway at Murrumbateman, north of Canberra around 6.30pm when she was allegedly struck by a ute.
The driver, a 25-year old man, was taken to Yass District Hospital for mandatory testing.
The woman was treated by witnesses at the scene but could not be revived.
Just 15 minutes earlier in far-western Sydney, an 80-year-old man was allegedly struck by a sedan while walking.
The 80-year-old was treated at the scene at Claremont Meadows by witnesses and paramedics, however he also could not be revived.
The 24-year-old drive was taken to Nepean Hospital for mandatory testing.
Just before 7pm, a 32-year-old was allegedly struck by a ute on Castlereagh Road at Penrith.
The man was treated by witnesses, police and paramedics but could not be revived.
The 43-year-old ute driver was taken to Nepean Hospital for mandatory testing.
Acting Assistant Commissioner Trent King said this is a very concerning way to commence the long weekend.
“Long weekends are a time for families and friends to spend together, not be told that their loved one has been killed in an incident on our roads,” Acting Assistant Commissioner King said.
“I implore both road users and pedestrians to stay alert, pay attention and be aware of your surroundings at all times.
“The predicted weather for the weekend requires additional caution to be taken, so please drive with care, for the sake of all road users.”
Reports will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
