Police have confirmed they are investigating bizarre reports a person was seen hitting tennis balls into busy traffic on a major Sydney highway.

NSW Police are investigating reports a person was seen hitting tennis balls into busy traffic on a major Sydney motorway.
A NSW Police spokeswoman said they had received reports from drivers that the person was seen hitting the balls into moving traffic at the M4 on ramp near the Church St exit at Harris Park.
Police were alerted to the bizarre incident about 9.50am on Friday.
A NSW Police spokeswoman said officers were on the scene but no arrests had been made at this time.
