A motorcyclist filmed the terrifying moment he lost control of his bike while coming around a corner, sending himself skidding into the bush.

The heart-stopping moment a motorcyclist lost control of his bike and sent it careering across the bitumen has been captured in shocking video.
Dramatic footage captured from the vehicle’s dashcam emerged on Thursday, showing the motorbike travelling on what appeared to be an isolated country road.
The video shows the motorbike entering a slight bend at high speed, but instead of following the corner, the bike speeds straight towards a boundary fence.
It comes to an abrupt halt after hitting the fence, causing the bike to tip over on the gravel and seemingly buck its rider off.
Footage of the scary crash was uploaded to the Dash Cam Owners Australia Facebook page and attracted responses from hundreds of shocked viewers.
The motorcyclist said he crashed after becoming too fixated on a target, which caused a delay in his braking.
“Bit of target fixation and the step in the road at the braking point disturbed my already late braking,” the post read.
He fortunately wasn’t seriously injured, with his biggest ailment being a slightly reduced capacity to lift a pint to his lips.
“Lucky my mate I was riding with was an ambo. Bruised my shoulder so bad I couldn’t lift a beer,” he wrote.
Many were surprised at how lightly the rider got off, with similar mistakes leading to far worse consequences.
“Get well soon mate! Unfortunately riders don’t often get off as lightly as drivers for miscalculations,” one person wrote in a comment.
“Ouch. Good they walked away. Nothing wrong with owning your mistakes,” another wrote.
“Poor fella, hope your shoulder is better and you can now drink a beer without using a silly straw,” a third said.
