Footage of an Aussie who found his car parked in by hundreds of e-scooters has gone viral.

The man was seen patiently moving the green and orange scooters in an alley at Spring Hill, Brisbane having left his car in a parking spot for an unknown time.

In the meantime, rows of e-scooters were evidently placed in the alleyway as residents and businesses hunker down ahead of Alfred’s arrival.

Brisbane man Davey first shared the videos to his social media feeds on Thursday where they have gained more than 100,000 views.

“To give everyone context,” he explained in one clip.

“This man has been parked here for two days … he hasn’t moved his car for two days.

“And during those two days Lime and Neuron has put their scooters in this alleyway to keep safe from the cyclone.

“But this poor f***er, he’s still f***ing at it.”

Neuron’s e-scooter services have been suspended in Brisbane as the city awaits impact from Alfred, likely on Saturday.

It’s understood company staff had been working to remove thousands of scooters from the streets to put into warehouses and storage.

The car park featured in Davey’s video was hired by Neuron and Lime for overspill storage and management had issued a directive to clear all cars from the spot by a set time.

One car, however, remained and staff believed it was abandoned – but when the driver returned they helped to clear a path for him.

One woman, who claimed to be the owner of the car with her partner, commented on Davey’s TikTok video on Friday morning.

“We pay $300 monthly to park here and were told we could stay parked there and that the scooters wouldn’t park us in! My poor man!” she wrote on Friday morning.

Some users spoke about the patience the man showed: “The way I’d just reverse and mess my car and the scooters up just to see what happens”.

“I’d be launching those scooters like a Hammer Throw in the Olympics,” another wrote.
