After counting the votes for our biggest reader poll of the year, we can now reveal the Top 30 hairstylists in the Territory as voted by you.

After receiving more than 1300 comments when we asked for nominations for the Territory’s favourite hairdresser, we went through all of them and narrowed the search down to the Territory’s Top 30 hairdressers (phew) — chosen by sheer number and volume of nominations.

Here are the top 30 hairdressers in the Territory, in no specific order, as voted by you:

• Studio Em, Nhulunbuy: Studio Em received more than 30 nominations.

“Emma and the team are amazing! Fantastic customer service, incredible cuts and colours and the feeling like you’ve been friends for years after you leave the salon for the first time.”

• I Am Hair Wellness, Durack: I Am Hair Wellness received dozens of nominations with particular callouts to Sonia and Kaitlyn.

• Champagne Hair Studio, Yarrawonga: Racquel Sesso and her team received more than 40 nominations.

• Pink Apple Hair, Moil: Pink Apple Hair was another very popular nomination with particular mentions for Sharna.

• Coco Loco Hair, Tipperary Waters: Coco Loco Hair, led by Helen Allfree and Savannah Smith, was nominated dozens of times.

• Alia Hair Room by Cass and Gaya, Rosebery: Another extremely popular nominee.

“I absolutely love the work they do and have never walked away wishing for anything more.”

• Glamazon Hair Salon, Coolalinga: Alec and David from Glamazon were nominated more than 40 times.

“David Ross-Fuller and Alec from Glamazon at Coolalinga have the most incredible talent for colour and style.”

• Hair Oracle, Darwin city: Another very popular nominee.

• House of Rozario, Darwin city: Nominated more than 30 times.

• K-Lush Hair Design, Millner: K-Lush was nominated dozens of times, with Kalotina and Tiana hot favourites.

“Randy Florendo is the best hairdresser in Darwin as he makes all his clients feel special and well looked after. He always makes them walk out the door feeling beautiful!”

• Helmet Hair Studio, Darwin city: Helmet Hair Studio had multiple nominations with Eliza a particular favourite.

“Eliza Vaughan from Helmet Hair Studio. She is amazing with any colour. She’s taken me from blonde to brunette to blonde again way too many times. Haircuts are perfect every time.”

• Creations Hair Studio, Millner: Nominated multiple times.

“Silvana, Creations Hair Studio, delightful, patient, sweet, goes the extra mile, great colours and cuts.”

• All About the Doo, Humpty Doo: All About The Doo was nominated more than a dozen times.
