The Bureau of Meteorology NT said the rain — and heat — was not what we expected from our usual Dry Season nights, but cooler weather was on the way.

Forecasters are expecting a cool push of air to make it’s way north by the weekend.
Rain is forecast tomorrow and Friday in Darwin with temperatures dipping down again from Friday.

You’ll have to pull out the blankets with Friday night’s minimum to dip to 20C and, from Saturday through to Monday, the mercury is expected to drop further to 19C.
