DARWIN’S Waterfront Precinct is being transformed into a holiday destination for the month of June with its Waterfront Beach Club.
With overseas travel off the cards for Territorians due to COVID-19, locals are encouraged to “celebrate the tropical lifestyle right here in our backyard instead”.
The Beach Club will have the precinct decked out with daybeds and lounges, and there will be house tunes every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Punters will be able to order food and drink from any of the surrounding restaurants online and receive a notification to collect when it’s ready.
