“Doggy play pen for camping!”
An Aussie mum has taken to the Kmart Home Decor & Hacks Australia Facebook group to share her hack for camping and caravanning with pets in tow.
“Doggy play pen for camping, $60 and I bought 2 and joined them together!” she wrote in the post.
The product is Kmart’s Pet Enclosure Durable, which retails for $60 each. It’s intended to keep small animals contained in your backyard, and stands at 61cm tall.

“Need this!”
Fellow campers in the group were thrilled with the idea.
“Great idea!” one said.
“We need this,” said another.
“This is a good idea,” a third agreed.
Some even said they do it already.
“Wow we do the same thing i thought i was the only crazy doggy person,” said one commenter.
“We did the same and our Holly loves it” another said.
“We have this but an older style from Kmart and have trained our boys from pups and have no issues jumping over it,” a third said.
“We use it around our camper so they don't escape underneath and around our gazebo so they have a big walk around. Caravan park managers have loved our idea as well.”

But, others said for their active pups, they might have to look for another more durable solution.
“Mine would have that down no matter what it took and be chasing down that kangaroos!” said one commenter.
