A popular fitness influencer has shared an update on how she is coping in the wake of her divorce announcement after finally telling fans who had been speculating about the split for months.

Tammy Hembrow announced she and Matt Zukowski were getting a divorce after less than eight months of marriage, with the pair tying the knot in November 2024.

When breaking the news to fans on Sunday, Hembrow said she didn’t want to provide details of the split — but has since been sharing her feelings about how the life update has impacted her.

Sharing snaps of herself getting an iced beverage, and promoting her brand at the same time, Hembrow captioned the set of images; “I feel like I’ve lost myself a thousand times … and each time I’ve found something new. So here’s to that.”

She also said she’s been crying so much that she is getting “extra headaches”, Daily Mail reported.

It comes after Hembrow, who made her fortune as a fitness influencer, shared a video of herself lifting weights. In the clip she performed moves such as dead lifts, split squats and hip thrusts. Between each set, she appeared to be getting emotional.

“Probably needed a hug. Went to the gym instead,” was written over the top of the video. In the clip’s caption, she said the gym had always been her “happy place” but that was becoming increasingly difficult.

“Some days are easier than others but some days I literally cry before I even walk in,” she said.

“Some days I sit in the car and don’t even make it past the front door. Some days I start a workout and just can’t finish it. It doesn’t even feel right to admit that because the gym has always been such an outlet for me.

“But I still show up. And I’ll keep showing up … because I know that even on the hardest days moving my body helps me. Even if it’s just a walk.

“A little reminder to anyone going through it — struggling doesn’t mean you’re failing.”

You can’t plan your life, or the actions by others. You are not a failure, and people who are talking sh*t is just so jealous of everything you have. I hope you heal and rise again soon, just take your time.”

Another added: “You’re only human and it’s OK to feel, take care of you.”

One commented: “You’re an amazing mum and you’re doing the best for your kids.”

Hembrow took to TikTok over the weekend to announce her divorce, saying telling her fans was causing her anxiety.

Hembrow stressed that she didn’t want to get into the details, and wanted to be sensitive to everyone involved.

“Did I think this was going to happen? No. Did I want this? No. Obviously, when you marry someone, you do it thinking … um, that it is going to be forever,” she said.

“I blame no one but myself.”

Hembrow had to pause multiple times to collect herself, explaining that she doesn’t think she’s always made the “best choices” in her romantic life.

Hembrow has three children, Wolf and Saskia with her ex-fiance Reece Hawkins, and her daughter Posy with her ex-fiance Matt Poole.
