'Loving, caring mother' remembered after random stabbing

A mother-of-two killed in a random stabbing attack at her real estate office in Adelaide has been farewelled.
Julie ‘Julez’ Seed, 38, was allegedly murdered, and a colleague seriously injured, by a person not known to either of them at the REAL Real Estate Office in Plympton on December 20.
7News reports Shaun Michaels Dunk, 30, was charged with one count of murder and one count of attempted murder in relation to the alleged stabbings.

At Julie’s funeral on Wednesday, her fiance Chris Smith described how she was dedicated to becoming a real estate agent, and finally found her dream job after several rejections.
He told mourners he and Julie were “inseparable” from the moment they met.
“We were in constant contact nearly every day, seeing what each other was up to and set up some dates and quickly turned from friends to love,” he said.

"Julie was the love of my life"
7News reports Smith proposed to Julie at a surprise 40th birthday party she’d thrown for him.
“It was one of the greatest days of my life,” Smith said.
“Julie was the love of my life. She was a loving, caring mother, a friend who just wanted to be a best friend for her family and would do anything for anyone.
“I’m going to miss your laugh, your smile, your loving embrace, your care, and your guidance and love.”

"I wish I could have one last hug"
Julie’s oldest daughter, 17, said her mother was her “light when there was darkness”, and played the role of a second ‘mum’ to a lot of her friends.
“You always wanted everything to be perfect because you were perfect in every way,” she said.
“You would always find the beauty in such little things which I always secretly admired about you.
“You had the ability to take such simple things and find the beauty behind them, but were never able to see how beautiful you really were.
“I promise to make you proud, mum. I promise to enjoy this amazing life you provided me with. I hate that you have been taken from us all too soon.
“I wish I could have one last conversation, one last laugh and one last hug. But most of all I wish I had the chance to say goodbye and tell you how much you mean to me and how much I love you.”

"I love you so much, mum"
Her younger daughter, 12, wrote a letter saying she’d feel “lost” without her mother.
“I always thought you and Chris would grow old together and have the life you both deserved,” she wrote in a letter read out at the service.
“I love you so much, mum. Whenever I was sad, you knew how to make me laugh and you always knew how to comfort me.”
7News reports Julie’s coffin was adorned in cow print and surrounded by figurines of cows, which were her favourite animals.
