A young mother-to-be has captured the beautiful moment she surprised her grandmother with the news of her pregnancy with twins after years of infertility issues.

Samantha Chadwick has been trying for a baby for years, but after a disheartening trip to a fertility clinic, she gave up on her dreams of becoming a mum.

However, those dreams recently came true as the 27-year-old found out that she had conceived naturally after taking multiple tests to make sure.

"She's still so excited"

Having unfortunately lost her mother six years ago, the next person for Samantha to tell was her 90-year-old grandma June whose reaction she recorded in the video posted to TikTok.

The video quickly went viral with masses of support for the mum-to-be from Queensland, Australia.

“My nan always said I'd be a good mum as my mum who passed away six years ago was a teacher of young children her whole life and all my life I have worked with kids and have loved being around them,” Samantha said.

“She’s still so excited and calls me all the time to make sure me and the babies are okay.

“I have read comments to her and she's seen other videos I have posted about it.”
