"We've lived in the bus for over eight months"
But not all were convinced, after some people compared the kids’ sleeping bunk beds to coffins.
Known online as @doubledeckerfam, Dane and Deena regularly share updates on their two-year road trip around the US with their 322,400 followers.
In a new TikTok, he said: “We’ve been on the road for eight months, come tour our Double Decker Motorhome!
Walking up the stairs into the front of the bus, Dane said: “This is the front area, it’s changed a little bit. We’ve got some stuff here at the front, but as you go back through the bus, it’s basically still the same.”
The first thing viewers can see is the driver’s seat, and two passenger seats. Behind these is a hanging shoe rack, where the family appear to be storing their Crocs and trainers.
Walking through the gap between the chairs, you then reach the fridge and freezer.
Dane continues: “Fridge has food in it now, freezer has food in it now. We’ve lived in the bus now for just over eight months.
“Things here in the sink, kids all around.”

Full-sized appliances and a spacious TV room
During the two-minute video, five of Dane’s six kids appear to be lounging in the living space watching TV.
He added: “Got food in the little pantries here on the side, and the bathroom here at the back now has stuff in it.”
In the small bathroom, a full-sized toilet and sink can be seen, as well as a shelf holding all the family’s toiletries.
Next to this is a large pantry with four deep shelves, all full with dried and tinned goods.
As Dane walks up the stairs, he stops and films the family’s shower, again full-size with a sliding privacy screen.
Filming where the family sleeps, he adds: “Back in the back f the bus, we’ve got all the kids’ bunks. They’ve been getting settled into those.”
There’s three sets of bunk beds, each with curtains to offer a bit of privacy, and next to these is another bathroom is a toilet and sick.
“Then at the back of the bus we’ve got the hanging storage for most of the kid’s clothes.”
Heading towards the front, there’s another seating area, and opposite a range of drawers holding all the family’s belongings.
Dane then opens a set of double doors to reveal the master bedroom that he shares with his wife Deena.
“You’ll see we have the biggest change that we’ve had so far in the bus upfront.
“We have changed out the master bedroom area… we have a California king bed in here now. We moved it all the way to the front of the bus, took out the bed that was on the floor, built a couple closets.
“We’re still in the process of those so they don’t have any hanging rods or anything yet.”
Heading out onto the roof of the bus, he continues: “Up top we’re working on some solar work, so we’ve got a panel down right now.”
He also shows how the benches installed either side of the bus turn into tables, which is typically where their kids do their school work.
And finally, he also reveals how the family do their laundry, sharing a glimpse at their full-sized washing machine.
