TERRITORIANS’ favourite watering holes are back in the spotlight, with the NT News counting down the top 20 best pubs and clubs online, including the iconic Beachfront Hotel.

Regular patron Alex Hartley said the Beachfront did the small things right. “It’s a really great atmosphere, staff are always really friendly,” Ms Hartley said. “They also do awesome eggs royal for breakfast.”

Her friend Jamie Caloyon-Rogers said it was a great place for every occasion thanks to the sports bar and the live entertainment. “I know it’s all here so if I wanted to go somewhere, this is the place to go because it’s right here, it’s convenient,” he said. “But really, we don’t even come here to party we just come here for the food it’s that good.”

The Beachfront Hotel owner and operator Guy Dunne said recent upgrades had made his pub an even more special place for its clientele.

“We’ve improved our offerings to become a more contemporary Northern Territory venue,” he said.

“It’s such an iconic location here on the beach at Nightcliff, it’s a fantastic spot, you can come down and sit on the front deck and watch the world go by.”
