Meghan Markle’s anniversary post is proof she’s just a regular mum

Meghan Markle has shared an insight into her life at home.

The Duchess of Sussex posted a pinboard-style collage to Instagram today in celebration of her wedding anniversary with Prince Harry.

But, if you look closer, you’ll find some never before seen family photos that prove she’s just like us (well, as much as she can be).

“Seven years of marriage. A lifetime of stories.”

Meghan Markle took to Instagram this morning to share a heartwarming post, celebrating seven years with husband Prince Harry.

“Seven years of marriage. A lifetime of stories,” she wrote in the post.

“Thanks to all of you (whether by our side, or from afar) who have loved and supported us throughout our love story - we appreciate you.

“Happy anniversary!”

The post was accompanied by a series of photos that have people talking.

She’s just like us!

The photo posted was a pinboard-style collage, featuring photos from each year the loving couple have been together, along with the phrase ‘Our love story’, and the lyrics to Stand by Me by Ben E King.

Whilst we’re familiar with many of these images, which include early portraits and a series of images from their wedding, there are also a number of photos featuring their children, Archie and Lilibet.

Meghan and Harry have famously opted against showing the faces of their children - likely to keep their lives as private as possible, following the negative attention Meghan in particular has faced over the years.

And whilst little is seen here, the photos do provide some insight into everyday life for the family of four.

One photo sees Archie and Lilibet in front of a Christmas tree in 2022. Another shows the family in their garden, and multiple feature a beach setting.

Whilst this is something she likely put together herself in celebration of the milestone, given her love for craft, we’d like to think Prince Harry was the one printing photos for the occasion. Because who doesn’t appreciate a sentimental gift?
