Congratulations are in order for MAFS star and self-confessed Aussie larrikin Ryan Gallagher and Olympic swimmer Emily Seebohm. 

The happy couple has welcomed their first child, a baby boy, into the world. 

Announcing the birth, Mum shared a simple black and white snap holding her newborn's tiny hand with a caption that read: "He’s here 💙"

From larrikin to doting dad

The new parents have been lapping up their first days as a family of three, and after more than a week of newborn snuggles, Ryan shared his first post as a doting dad. 

"The last 10 days have been the best of my life to date," he shared, along with a photo of him holding his baby boy.

"Sampson Ryan Seebohm has changed our lives and we bloody love him he’s perfect," he added, confirming their baby boy's name.

A quirky baby announcement

Ryan and Emily met on the set of reality show, The Challenge in early 2022 and went public with their relationship in December.

Three months later they announced their engagement and not long after, a baby was on the way. 

They shared their happy news with a quirky announcement on Instagram, a video showing dad embracing his growing belly. 

“Baby Seebohm due September,” the excited dad announced. 

Mum-to-be also shared the video with the caption: “We’ve had a little bump in the road."
