The dogs of the rich and famous
THEY’RE the celebrity dawgs who know where the party’s at. Snoop Dogg, Blake Lively, Laurina from The Bachelor, they’ve all got nice pooches. But who’s top dog?

THEY’RE the celebrity dogs with legions of fans in their own right. But who’s the top dog?
Let’s be honest, these eight celebrity pooches probably live better than you do (well except maybe the last one).

Jon Stewart — Champ
Not content with being politically astute and hilariously funny, Jon Stewart also has a three legged dog, just like Champion from Parks and Recreation!
This is too much to bear. Three legs but one big heart. It has been through so many struggles, but that has only made it more loving and affectionate (probably). What it lacks in a humerus, radius and ulna, it makes up for in face licks and cuddles. If only we could all be as noble as this dog, the world would be a better place.
Martha Stewart — Genghis Khan
That’s right. Martha Stewart’s Chow Chow is called Genghis mother-flippin’ Khan. As in, the bloodthirsty warrior who slaughtered half of Asia.
Add to that the fact that Martha’s done hard time — her prison nickname was M. Diddy (seriously) — and this is one badass dog. Also Martha is mates with Oprah, so this dog has probably licked Oprah. And it dines exclusively on gourmet fried rice and stewed fish. Boss.
Snoop Dogg — Juelz Broadus
Juelz Broadus is Snoop Dogg’s pet French Bulldog, and while he’s only been on Instagram since May 1st, it’s already obvious that this dawg knows where the parties are at.
He’s surrounded by mega babes and blunts in his Instagram posts, so this Frenchy surely knows all about that peaches and cream. Followed by gossip sites and owned by the Doggfather, this pet pooch is living the high life in the fast lane.
Blake Lively — Penny
Blake is the perfect woman, with the perfect husband, and the cutest puppy dog. Penny is a cross Maltese-toy Poodle and is often snapped by the paps in LA.
Penny has been on the Gossip Girl set, in the arms of Ryan Reynolds, and no doubt in Blake’s walk-in wardrobe, so pretty much is the envy of every girl on the planet. On set at a photo shoot, Penny took aim at a very expensive Versace gown, but luckily she has terrible aim, and that territory remained unmarked — just.
Sonia Kruger — Ferg
Krugs and Ferg go way back, when Ferg was a teeny tiny puppy. She’s a Staffy-cross and she’s super sweet.
She is showered with love, and despite Sonia’s busy-as-a-bee schedule, she always makes time to walk, play and pay attention to her canine BFF. Ferg particularlylikes trips to the Channel Nine HQ with mum, sharing her dressing room when necessary, and loves riding shotgun in Sonia’s Porsche. What fine taste she has.
Kylie Gilles — Pepe
It’s a house full of lads at Gilles HQ and Pepe is a nugget of a French Bulldog that rules the roost. Whether it’s a walk in the park across the street, or wrestling and cuddles with the boys, this stocky and endlessly smiley puppy is adored at home and online. He’s a photogenic pooch who is a regular on Kylie’s Instagram feed.
Laurina from The Bachelor — Bambi
The only thing that was more exciting than that dirty street pie (and maybe Laurina’s skydiving face) was the revelation that she has a Chihuahua called Bambi. This alien-faced little ball of cuddles won hearts across the nation, and also went a long way towards helping Bach fans fall in love with Laurina.
Dan Debuf — Chips!
No list of dogs — celebrity or otherwise — would be complete without my Chihuahua Chips! She might not play well with other dogs but she has her own certain breed of tenacity and sense of adventure. Also she is very portable, and her turds are very manageable — about the size of a large Twistie. Should add, you can follow her on Instagram. On the whole a very excellent dog.
