Four students have begun their Certificate II in Hairdressing through the program, founded by Hair Dude owner Gary Strachan, with Bulgul father Will Hewitt happy with what he has learnt so far.
“I’ve learnt heaps … I’ve done hair colouring and different style cuts," he said.
“I love seeing the finished product and people walking out the door with their hair cut and a smile on their face.” Mr Hewitt said he planned to get a hair dressing job in his community when he finished the course.

“It's a great opportunity for all Indigenous people to receive the hair training certificate,” he said.
