Orange Cream Cheesecake

Tangy, citrusy and creamy, this orange cream cheesecake is definitely going to blow your mind and wow your guests. We love a no-bake cheesecake at Christmas time, especially one that is inspired by one of our favourite Arnott’s biscuits - orange slice cream biscuits. Decorate the cheesecake with the leftover biscuits for a show-stopping Christmas dessert. How do you make sure a no-bake cheesecake is set? This recipe requires 6 hours of chilling. It’s important to wait for the appropriate amount of time - the cheesecake will be almost shiny and will be firm to the touch when set. Once you make a no-bake cheesecake once you’ll definitely be hooked. Luckily, we’ve got so many more no-bake cheesecakes to satisfy your cravings for an easy dessert.

Lamington Custard Slice

I don’t know about you, but lamingtons are one of those desserts that have me reaching for one after another! Luckily for me (and for you), I’ve come up with the easiest lamington custard slice that is just packed with layers upon layers of delicious Australian flavours. A classic toppings combo for everyone’s favourite nostalgic dessert is strawberries and whipped cream. We’ve added layers of vanilla custard and chopped strawberries in between the three jam-filled lamingtons which gives the slice some added moisture so you don’t suffer from a case of dry lamington getting stuck to the roof of your mouth! What’s more, we just use store bought lamingtons, which makes this recipe an ideal one to whip together without much notice! Top with whipped cream and strawberry jam and enjoy this cheats showstopper!

’Hot cross bun’ espresso martini

Turn everyone’s favourite cocktail into an Easter entertainer. Mix your martini with cinnamon whisky for a hint of hot cross fun.

Kinder slice

This white chocolate cheesecake slice hides a tasty surprise – Kinder Bueno bars. It also has a double coating of white and milk chocolate on top, just like the crackable shell of our favourite choccy eggs, but sorry, no toys! We already know that Aussies love Kinder Bueno, and this 5-star rated Kinder Bueno cheesecake proves it. There’s just something about that delicious chocolate and hazelnut crunchy combo that makes us want to keep creating more Kinder-inspired desserts. How do I make the perfect no-bake Kinder slice? Don’t be fooled by the cook time, this recipe actually only calls for the chocolate to be melted and doesn’t require any baking! If it’s a no-bake slice (and we’ve got so many more recipes for you to browse through), that means that it needs to be set in the fridge for the correct amount of time to ensure the perfect bite! This recipe requires 5 hours of chilling so remember to make it ahead of time.

Slow cooker French onion beef

Just as day follows night, so too does the appearance of the slow cooker follow the first sign of Autumn. And every year I’m blown away. Not only because my 20 plus year-old slow cooker is in the same fine form it ever was, but how much I love a good old-fashioned beef stew. Yes, beef, you were great on the barbie over summer, but how I love you in this form. In this slow cooker French onion beef recipe, chuck steak is slowly cooked in red wine, with sweet carrots, fresh thyme and, of course, the flavour bomb that is French onion soup mix. I swear this tastes as though you’ve put so much more effort into it than you have. Make a double batch and store in the freezer. I have it on good authority that it makes a perfect pie filling!

Triple-decker choc-mint rocky road.

With three distinct layers, this stunning rocky road would make the perfect festive treat - both as a dessert or an edible gift. If you want to ramp up the Christmas factor, throw in some red Smarties and you are good to go! (By the way, we’ll be making this all year long, it’s just too good not to.)

Espresso martini pavlova

Your favourite cocktail just became dessert and it’s everything you’d hoped it would be: fluffy pavlova, vodka-spiked coffee syrup, whipped cream, and chocolate.
