A TERRITORY man has been done for drink driving - after allegedly crashing a 10m boat into a wharf while attempting to berth on Sydney Harbour.
Police have charged the man with navigating a commercial vessel under the influence of alcohol on Sydney Harbour overnight.
They say the 10m water taxi hit the wharf at the southern end of Woolloomooloo Bay a number of times while attempting to berth.
Police were called by concerned onlookers and secured the vessel upon arrival.
They breath tested the master of vessel, the sole occupant, who returned a positive reading.
The 42-year-old from Northern Territory was taken to Sydney Water Police where he returned a positive breath analysis of 0.188.
He was charged with navigate with high range PCA whilst driving a commercial vessel and granted conditional bail to appear in Balmain Local Court on February 5, 2014.
