HEARD that Jason Deigan caught a metrey barramundi fishing land-based and sent him a message that I wanted to use some pictures of the fish he caught for my blog.
In addition, I would like him to join our “land-based metrey barramundi club”.
I received this message from Mr Deigan: “G’day Hiro.
“I caught him today off the Shady Camp barrage using a Kokoda 7-inch plastic, in red head and white body, using a Daiwa Zillion baitcast reel and a Daiwa Generation black rod.”
Jason explained to me that he retrieved his plastic – in red head and white body – with a shaking retrieve to attract the fish.
