I HAVE been on a holiday, and recently returned to Darwin.

I went to Fannie Bay to fish for the first time in a while on the weekend.

It was early in the morning. The water was very, very clear.

The sea surface was rippled.

The tides as follows:

5.06am – 2.64m

11.27am – 5.82m

17.58pm – 3.68m

23.22pm – 4.88m

The productive fishing window with this tide at the location I was fishing was one hour after the lowest tide.

It came before sunrise.

By being in the right place at the right time, I caught two barramundi.
