A very popular and trendy young star has stepped out looking like Britney Spears.

Addison Rae has been seen dressing like a Britney Spears impersonator, and she looks fabulous.

The 23-year-old was seen rocking a fedora, Daisy Dukes, a white singlet top tied up to reveal her mid-drift, and boots.

She was looking like a glitzy cowgirl.

The young TikTok star-turned singer and actor dyed her naturally brunette hair blonde and is making wearing a little hat fashionable again.

It was very Britney Spears in the early 2000s.

Rae was even carrying a Diet Pepsi, and Spears was associated with the brand as its face in the early 2000s.

Hopefully, everyone can remember the days when Spears pranced around in micro denim shorts and wore tiny hats.

The best thing about Rae’s look is she wasn’t off to a Britney Spears costume party, she was just heading out for lunch in LA.

Rae, 23, originally became famous for being TikTok’s fifth most followed person, with over 80 million followers.

She then went mainstream by starring in the Netflix remake of She’s All That, creatively titled He’s All That.

From there, she pivoted and launched her pop career, and she released her single Diet Pepsi, which saw her debut on the Billboard Hot 100.

She’s also been very trendy and has a gaggle of cool new mates. She’s often seen with Troye Sivan and Charli XCX.

Since she launched her pop music career she’s also changed up her style.

When she was doing dances on TikTok, she was way more casual, wearing things like jeans and a crop top.

These days, she is opting for much more over-the-top fashion and people have noticed. To the point where she has had to explain that the way she dresses isn’t the work of a PR team.

The Britney Spears homage in her outfit is likely not a coincidence, with the singer telling Interview Magazine this year that she is a huge fan.

“Loving Britney is a huge part of my life. I’m also obsessed with Madonna and Barbra Streisand. I love a woman who does it all,” she said.

Rae also told the magazine that, even though she’s just launched her pop career, she hasn’t quit acting.

“I want to create things that are memorable, that provoke thoughts and feelings in people, and

I want to entertain,” she said.

“Britney said it best: ‘There’s only two types of people in the world, the ones that entertain and the ones that observe.’ And I love entertaining.”
