Tropical Cyclone Seroja forms in Timor Sea, may strengthen into Category 3 system
Tropical Cyclone Seroja has developed off the coast of Timor and is tracking southwest with the Bureau of Meteorology saying it could strengthen into a Category Three system.

TROPICAL Cyclone Seroja has developed off the coast of Timor and is tracking southwest but is not currently expected to impact the Northern Territory’s coastline.
The tropical low developed into a Tropical Cyclone Seroja — meaning lotus flower — in Indonesian waters on Sunday night.
The Bureau of Meteorology says the cyclone is forecast to move southwest and could strengthen into a Category Three system by Thursday morning.

However its not currently predicted to impact the coastline of Northern Australia or WA.

The BOM said the system will most likely remain over water, but there is a possibility it will move towards WA later in the week.
