THE Northern Territory’s border measures could remain in place for up to three years, Chief Minister Michael Gunner has warned.
Mr Gunner said he expected some COVID-19 safeguard measures to continue for a “very, very long time” in the NT during an appearance on ABC’s Q&A program on Monday night.
“I think we have to face the reality we don’t know if or when there will be a vaccine,” he said.
“I think we’re going to be living with this situation for a year, two years or three years – a very, very long time.

“So we have to find a set of health policies that save lives that we can live with for a very long time.”
